Mission
After maintaining a number of shops for the charity for the past decade, and overseeing the construction of schools and mosques, in addition to the development of the infrastructure in my village in Sierra Leone, I have decided to embark on a new journey.
Reform
This urge came about after much reflection and prayer which led me to realise that to bring a real, lasting, and positive change, it is not enough to simply build buildings and provide food to those in need. Additionally, we must endeavour to raise the moral consciousness of our society and engineer a positive shift in the mentality of our culture. A people can never stand on their own two feet or take responsibility for their own lives while living in dependence on any one organisation or individual. This is especially the case when religious distortion has affected an area to the point that religion is only used as a vehicle to bolster cultural norms and not to reform them. Religion suddenly becomes irrelevant when it calls for introspection, humility, and full submission to God with regards to what we love and what we dislike.
Education
It is primarily through education that we will be aiming to wage this battle. Our dream is to build an orphanage which will include a school where kids will be taught at an early stage about the Oneness of God and reliance on Him alone. That the true prestige and honour in the sight of God is in fear of Him and prophetic character; selflessness, empathy, emotional intelligence, self control, and calling to justice no matter who it's for or against.
